The Brits can rest easy, then. No respectable Irishman would run out of whiskey.

I was going to wear one two years ago when I was at a Giants/Dbacks game in San Fran but anything that requires more than half an hour of sitting usually ends up with my bits on display Embarassed . Being a guy its really hard to remember to keep your legs at least semi closed when getting comfortable for 9 innings!!

Thanks for getting the board. I left a contribution at tmar's (I had to leave before the game), but I'm happy to add more.

Good work.

I like to read the different message boards but this one is my favorite. It was disappointing to have to go back to the old, old one that had a couple of annoying posters........but I'm glad to be home again. It's kind of like living in a hotel while your house is being fumigated. It's wonderful to be back!

Thanks, Jim, this great! I'm sorry to hear about the problems you are experiencing in your personal life. I hope everything works out for you.

Did somebody say something about "Paypal"? I'd like to contribute!

No-one should ever feel they are obliged to contribute [heck, I'd fund this place all by myself if necessary], but see the sticky thread in the Site section or this page if you feel you must send money. Wink

Jim, I had no idea you were also Scottish, always presumed you were English for some reason. You ever been to Stirling?

I think a couple of times when I was young - family friends used to run the Doune Motor Museum [is it still going?] and we used to visit them during the summer. The odd day in Stirling probably also happened, though I can't remember much about it! [Doune Castle is also, incidentally, where chunks of Monty Python and the Holy Grail was filmed, trivia fans... On one trip we watched them filming parts of the infamous BBC series, The Borgias, there too.]

Convincing my wife that my contribution to "Trash City" is for a Diamondback blog may be a stretch. Would you please send me a note how to contribute to the site without using "Trash City?"

Im pretty sure that its not still going. I think I can remember my dad saying when he last went to visit it that it had turned into some kind of Volkswagen Beetle museum thing. Don't think he was to impressed with the changes.
