Tyra is a complete psycho. She's beaten up and been sued by just about every woman that's worked for her.
Pass.

Well, at least, we got some hits tonight..
...and we weren't shut out...
...and we didn't lose the lead in the late innings...
...and Melvin pulled Slaten before he had to pitch to Pujols...
...and that's about all the positives I can think of...

Oh, one more positive: we won't have to hear from Thom and Gracie about how Miggie hasn't lost since July 20th (or whenever the heck it was...)

The STL feed said that Izzy is shut down for this series due to hip problems. |
Izzy sucks, but the rest of the pen is decent. Wainwright is VERY good--a good curve and a very live fastball that breaks right at the end.

...it's Jeff freaking Weaver. Don't be surprised if Clark gets the start, he's 6-9 against him with 2 HR's. |
The magic has worn off, although he did raise his BA to .195 by hitting 1 for 4.

Tony's hit surprised the hell outta Preston Wilson (he fell down in shock), and Tony was completely spent when he had to run to 2nd base on a ball that even Estrada might've been able to lumber into third. Tony was sooooo tired out after that unanticipated run that he wasn't able to do much more after that.
