This game is really difficult to take... |
Wow, welcome to the forum Ms. Mousy
|
I've lurked for awhile now. Hardly ever a gameday thread on the other board.
When this game got out of hand I thought I'd commiserate with everyone here.
|
Come in any game night and we'll be here, and it'll be good baseball talk and not some wierdo from Gilbert trying to make time with the girls
|
too funny, surfer!

I thought they said Hudson was a reserve.

How is being selected as a reserve a "snub?"

Hey EvilJuan!
Quit playin' Jedi mind tricks on me! After watching that debacle, I thought you and others were saying Hudson didn't make the all-star team. Then I go back to verify my own sanity, ya edited ya post.
To be clear, Valverde and Hudson are both on the NL all star squad, right?
I think Byrnes should be as well, but I didn't catch the outfield reserves selected, so I don't know if that was a snub or not.

Yeah, looks like I didn't miss much either. You could have thrown a few more darts and had a couple more pints, Stuart.

Hopefully this will have been the worst game of the season. If they come any uglier than this one, I hope I don't have to watch it. |

Well... I was at that "game" live... for the first 6.5 innings. Rare that I leave early, but couldn't take any more of that Giant joy jest... and left during the 7th inning stretch.

Worst shutout in Diamondbacks franchise history.

We were down by 16 when Grace pitched. And then by 17... unless he gave up more than 1 (can't remember). Have the d-backs ever been down more than 17? Just wonderin'.

They lost that game to LA 19-1. AZ scored 1 run in the bottom of the 9th that night to avoid the shutout.

The worst part about losing, the game, was enjoying Lincecum pitch.
