I understand and play fantasy football, but don't know anything about fantasy baseball. I'm considering getting into it next season. Do you have a 25 man roster? Is it alot of work to be involved? Is it a league play like FF?

There are a whole bunch of different ways of playing fantasy baseball, but I imagine the basic principle is much the same as fantasy football [which I know nothing about!] - put together a lineup, and how they do determines the standings. The most common scoring system is what's called "rotisserie". In this, there are (usually 10) categories, both offensive and pitching, decided before the season. For example:
Offensive: Runs, RBI, HR, SB, BA
Pitching: W, Sv, K, ERA, WHIP
The performances of the active players in your roster in these categories are tallied. The fantasy team with the WORST performance in each category gets one point; the next worst two, and so on up to the best team, who will get most points [the actual number depends on the number of teams in the league - it'd be ten points in a 10-team league]. The points from each category are added together, and the team with the most overall points at the end of the season is the winner.
Variations included head-to-head, where your scores in each category are pitted against only one other fantasy team in a week. The team who has the best results in the category gets one point - so in a week, you might get 6.5 points, if you win six categories, lose three and one is tied. Again, best total at season end wins [some leagues offer playoffs, over the last few weeks of the year].
The other main scoring system is points-based, where your active players get points for various actions. Single = 1 pt; double=2; hitter strikes out = -1; complete game by pitcher = 5 etc. These points are added together for your players, and again, these can be tallied over the course of a year, or played head-to-head.
Usually, a league will have minimum/maximum limitations on, for example, games played or innings pitched. Some leagues allow roster changes every day, while others require you to "set" your roster for a given week, and you can't change it after the deadline, even if your star shortstop breaks a leg on Monday morning. Like most fantasy sports, it will be as time consuming as you want it to be - daily roster changes are obviously more intensive than weekly ones.
