One of the great trivia questions:

Name the nine inning game when every batter had the same average after the game as he did before.

Great day at the ball park. It was so nice to see Garland pitch. For the other team thank God.

The main points have been amde. I'd only add that MR's throws were perfect today. He can do it if he concentrates and moves his feet. He needs to keep this up.

The ball Grace says Upton loafed on was a good play by JU. Sun field hard hit ball. Yes the runner had gone off the bag a little, but he was back to the bag by the time JU had the ball and JU was at the warning track when he caught the ball.

Nit picking at best. Why dog your best player on a basically good play?

Not a bad start for the season! Smile
um, the parts I caught, anyway, and the final score -- sadly I fell asleep on the couch pretty much as soon as I got home....

Here's hoping Jackson's D-back debut tomorrow goes as well!

If I can score a freebie Im going in. Ive heard their are lots of free tix floating around for this one so it shouldnt be too hard.

If not I will join the fray around the 4th inning when I get home.

We should be up about 6-0 by then. Wink

Damn I wish I would have had some money in Vegas on this one. Shocked

great day at the park.It was electric.I got to say hi to Amare Stoudamire. I was just across the aisle from John McCain which was cool.I gave a shout out to Jillian but I think I scared her.I believe Jillian took a pic of me and my son in the ninth inning. Great opening day. I am on the shuttle home. Hope to make it home to root for butler.
I also got to say hi to Joe Nichols and got some nice pics of him for my wife. Wife says we were on tv a few times.

CY hits a line drive to RF for an out... Dont care... if he hits line drives all year, we are in good shape.

Dave Burns was saying the same thing on his post-game show. Even though CY was hitless, he had solid ABs today. If the ABs remain solid, he'll get his hits.

Dave said .260 from CY this year -- with his great defense in CF -- would be like a nice shiny Christmas gift, and that .280 would be a dream-come-true.

Watching the pregame looks like FSN is going to give us a lot of OAR this year.

Hey I liked the band when they were good. Wink Laughing

Actually their new one a 4 disc live one from Chitown is not to bad. Im already sick of "This Town" 50 times in the pregame show.

About an Hour Ago is their best song live. Wink

WoooHooooo. Undeafetes! Just got back from downing a few after the ball game. Great game plus the dogturds lost to Pitt, loved that!

I had high hopes for Howry but then again he left a meatball to Adrian Gonzalez on a full count. Maybe he'll bounce back.

Vanessa still looks gorgeous as ever. Great atmosphere at the ballpark, I think I only saw one or two Padre fans, now if we can keep that up when the yankmees, cubs and dofturds play here that would be great.

Here's to an awesome season!

I watched the replay last night. The kid eating cotton candy between 5th and 6th inningmthat Sut and Grace were talking about was my son. I was sitting to the right of him. We got a few calls last night from folks who saw us.
I saw earlier in the thread someone mentioned the girl in red behind J Nichols singing God Bless America. She was sitting two seats to my left and she did fill a shirt nicely. Shocked

Hmm, and yet, even though that was posted in Feb 23rd and you addressed baldmaga and jeninbostons inquirys on March 23rd you failed to address this? What was he supposed to think? Yeah, I was joking when I told Otacon that, but you should have shot it down then rather than call me out a month and a half later.

Seems to me this is a very simple process. Sign up in the thread, or you dont get rights. Simple. Who are you to do mod work anyway?

I wasnt. The only thing I was doing was creating a post where all the bdays were in it so someone can looks at and say "Oh Day X is taken!" I was trying to be helpful, it will be the last time.

I wasnt being serious about the otocon thing, evidently he thought I was.

Amen to that! Ubaldo is awesome!
