Thanks Daddy D, I so excited about this year I can hardly stand it. Then again, it might be baseball withdrawel.
Im glad to gear Doug started early. Hoepfully he will come out of the gate strong and work on the .071 AVG I checked his stats Three doubles and a Triple.. all he needs is the HR to have hit for the cycle through his career... LOL..
This goes back to our debate on the DH so don't take it personally.
Kyle

Left-hander Doug Davis did not throw his scheduled bullpen session on Saturday due to stiffness in his back.
"Tightened up on him a little bit," D-backs manager Bob Melvin said. "We'll be proactive early on. This isn't the most important day. Whether we give him a day or so, I don't know."
Davis said he's experienced the discomfort in his back plenty of times before, but that it's never been anything serious and that MRIs have shown that there's nothing structurally wrong. He spent the morning getting treatment on it and said he was hopeful he could be back on the mound on Sunday.
"It's already feeling better as we speak," he said.
