Much as I'd like to blame this one on the Great Satan (a.k.a. Go Daddy), think this one is something else. Looking at the info I can pry out, it seems they've got a dedicated server, and there's an issue with the database server on it. If that is indeed the case, I hope they have someone on staff who has admin experience, or it could be a lengthy outage. Consider this evidence for why shared hosting like we have, sluggish though it may sometimes be, has its advantages...

LOL!
Several years back I sat for 4 hours on the tarmac in a Northwest Airlines plane in Minneapolis because a construction crew inadvertently cut the cables to the communications network for the airport. Lovely summer afternoon that was.

Database Server Problems
The database server issues we've been experiencing have been resolved. A defective power supply has been replaced.
I apologize for the any inconvenience.
