Chicago White Sox shortstop Juan Uribe has been charged, with his brother and a friend, of shooting an Italian naval officer and a farmer on October 13th. Until the case comes to trial, he is required to check in with the court on the 15th and 30th of every month. Needless to say, this will make it difficult for him to play baseball this season...

Now that I've followed back on the link, yes, I see the connection. In my own defense, yer honor, all I can say is that the previous post by shoe stuck in my brain as being about Alex Cintron... I didn't make the Urbe connection until just now...

Score this as another "duh" moment in a life full of such mental lapses...
