This is my starting roster:
QB: Favre
WR: R Wayne
WR: B Marshal
WR: D Bowe
RB: Barber III
RB: Kevin Smith / Rudi Johnson
TE: K Winslow
(BN WR: E Royal)
As you can see, my #2 RB spot needs help, but I'm pretty stacked at WR.
My buddy offered me Brandon Jacobs and Derrick Mason for Bowe and Royal. Obviously Mason is a throw-in to help out with my empy WR slot. He happens to also have Gore and Turner at RB so he's deep there.
I'm thinking of just staying pat and hoping that Rudi can at least get me 5-8 points a week. I'm 2-0 so far, and if Favre gets me at least 10 tonight I'll be the only guy in the league to score triple digits all three games. I'm not in a hurry to trade but wonder if I should consider this.

While I don't think it's quite that bad (Royal will hardly ever see time on my squad while Marshal is healthy), I am also thinking it's a better deal for him than me.

He's just upped the ante on both sides to Brandon Marshal straight up for Michael Turner.
I hate trading in FF...

There are no buddies on FF. He's thinking Turner is going to fizzle and he wants to sell high. I wouldn't trade Marshall, personally. He is THE target in Denver. Also, I like to plan ahead for the playoffs and Turner plays MN in week 15.
One of my leagues is a free one with people from work. This is the first year and it might be the most fun I've had doing FF, because there are at least a couple of trades every week. Sure, some are lopsided, but there's no money involved with this one and it's just for fun. It makes for good smack talk on Monday mornings.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. I just got Randy Moss for LenDale White. And I'm not sure who is getting the better deal.

After today, I can safely say you didn't...

I actually ended up getting the better of the Moss/White deal, but it was basically even. What put it over the top for me is that Moss was in my lineup every week, but White couldn't be counted on to start all the time. I did make the semi-finals in all 3 of my leagues, so I have that going for me.
