Jeez, I just realized with CoJack, Quentin, Ed-Gonz... we've got the Killer Bs and the G Force beat:

The Murderin' Monobrows!

I think he looks pretty badass in RED!!!

I agree that there are clearly issues with how this organization develops their young talent. The inability to manage the less than clear cut cases has been here since the beginning. In the past they had the double edged sword of not evaluating the talent they had properly, and too often trading away the wrong guys. At least that seems to have been corrected.

However I have grave concerns over Melvin's ability to handle this young roster. I won't be judging him on how well he handles the obvious stud prospects, because they are going to play no matter what. But he needs to show REAL confidence in the other young players too, postion players and pitchers alike.

This man looks like he's ready to kick some ass.

Yeah, put him in the rotation. He looks like he has no interest in going back and forth 'tween phx and tuc. Just give him the job we gave him 3 yrs ago.

He's out of options...so there will be no going back and forth.

He will either be on the roster or be traded.

I think edgar and enrique will have really good years this year. I still hope we can find one more starter - but i dont think it will happen.

As long as Webb, Davis and Livan perform about where expected, i really think that some combo of Gonzo, Gonzo, Cruz, Eveland, etc will be just fine filling out the rest of the rotation. I really do. Will it be as good as LA, no, but not bad either.

Does anyone else think there might be alot of 2-1 games in the NL west this year? SD and LAs offense got worse, SF probably about the same, Colorado should be slightly better - or about the same - depending on what they do with Tulo. AZ will probably be up and down due to youth - but should end up slightly better than last IMO, due to q vs Green, and the Tracy/Jackson/drew/ getting one more year of exp.

Big papa, Carlos Gonzalez and Carter for 6 weeks of Rich Harden each year.

Who knows maybe we'll get lucky.

What's his service clock at? How long do we have him for rookie salary?

Let's not get Patterson'ed.
