not like I wasnt wearing red before, being an ASU student and having coyote gear...
BUt my first trip to the mall since the team switched colors...I seriously love the red and white women Nike shirts they have at Glass Cage Sports.
Most people who wont accept change ...it has nothing to do with the color, they just think the FO is dissing Jerry. Thats it. Because theres nothing remotely wrong with this red, even if a million teams have the color.
No one in the FO said we had to ditch all of our purple stuff for the red. Some people feel they are being trapped in a small room with red snakes with flames coming out of their mouths. Goodness. Wear what you want.
I can see it already...that dirt on Eric jersey totally doesn't go with red. BOOoooo. Jackson totally looks ugly hitting a homerun in that Tan jersey. Boooo..

Xactly!!!
The Dbacks had already greatly expanded team wear in a variety of colors anyway. I have Dbacks polo shirts from past seasons in black, beige, and white. (also a couple of purple ones)
But who the hell cares what color uni the team is wearing when they take the field?

I just bought one of the Franchise hats tonight. Not the official 5950 hats or whatever that they wear on the field, but the kind of floppy, fitted ones.
Awesome. It's black with the red/black "A." I seriously almost bought 3. The other two I really like are the white with the Red "D-backs" written across it and the red hat with the black "D."
I love these colors.
And you know, I saw an Astros hat right next to an official Diamondbacks game hat, and the colors really aren't even close. When I first saw the red color I thought it seemed very Astro-esque, but yeah, not really very similar at all.
I will buy my first jersey when they offer Young and Drew. Can't decide between the two of them. Also considering Jackson  |
