Here's a little mojo for Josh and the boys to bring back more pitching from the winter meetings. |

JB should hire a film crew to follow Conor Jockson around at the clubs in Scottsdale and use the video tape of that to lure more players to The Diamondbacks. I don't see how anyone could turn down a contract with a guarenteed-lay incentive. |

Very true, but I think there's a higher ratio of goodness here than say oh, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Cleveland, Milwaukee, etc.

That matters to the average guy, not the professional athlete. |

As long as they don't use footage of Mark Grace busting slumps...

The "ratio of goodness" only matters to average looking guys with average jobs. For good looking professional baseball players, whatever talent exists will come out of the woodwork and flock around.
Guys like that could score with a hot babe on the south pole.

oh, that brought back memories. i remember watching carlos baerga turn around in the dugout and flirt with the girly girls in the first few rows for the entire game. after the first season of doing it, alex cintron started trying that too.
'cause nothing's as hot as pockmarked 4'9" guys who look like they're wearing pajamas...

""There is definitely a relationship between revenue in the game," Boras said, "and salaries in relation to those revenues.""
I'm not totally siding with Boras but I suspect that maybe our FO is crying poor just a smidge.

I rather they do that than have the itch to spend just to spend.
