The Red Sox and Dodgers were scheduled to meet at midnight ET Sunday to talk about Red Sox outfielder Manny Ramirez, a source told FOXSports.com.

The Dodgers may want some sort of idea whether Ramirez will want his $20 million options for 2009 and 2010 picked up before they progress to far along into trade talks. If they can't land Ramirez, they could settle for Luis Gonzalez and work on continuing to upgrade their pitching. Dec. 4 - 12:57 am et
