I'm going to copy my response from earlier today here - it still stands

Im a little more positive on the guy - i look at the end of 05. GB/FB was very high - very good..

2005 splits

After the ASB, in 14 starts, he had a 2.77 ERA. some luck, maybe, but that is pretty darn good for 14 starts...

While he wasnt K-ing guys, he wasnt walking them either - the big difference between 2004s second half, and 2005s.

Anyway, even though i am more optimistic on him, i have no misconception that there isnt any risk - he could tank. BUT - as i have said, it really just depends on what he wants. I personally think he would be crazy to sign here, when a team like SD or LA of STL want him - all pitchers parks...
