1. i totally agree that the broadcasts NEED to start teaching OBP and SLG and OPS and whatnot to the fans. i've been a baseball addict all my life, but it's very very easy to end up saber-ignorant when nobody tries to teach you. despite loving the game and obsessing over it, i never learned the value of OBP and OPS until very recently. the more they show it, the better chance for other fans to learn earlier than i did.

2. excellent use of "the cat's meow" phrase. kudos.

3. chris young is dreamy.
