Rotoworld

Quote:
According to ESPNews, the Phillies and Adam Eaton have agreed to a three-year, $24 million contract.

Eaton rejoins the team that drafted him. This could end up being one of the better starting pitcher signings of the offseason. If Eaton's finger problems are behind him, he's at least as good of a bet for the future as Vicente Padilla, Ted Lilly or Gil Meche, and the Phillies apparently were able to get him without offering up a fourth year.

wtf? Now the guys who have never even put up a league average year are getting $8M/yr?

Look at the lenght contract, the total money, and Eaton's BR page everyone. If you still think we can get DD to agree to an extension for less than $10M/yr you are smoking crack.
