lolz, it might not be as bad of a deal as it seems. He ended up doing an ok job for the Mets. If he can continue that league average production it's a steal for the Mets. If not, they are a big market team that can absorb the loss.

rosenthal claims 2 years and $12m.

my guess is this works out to about $2m per trip to the DL.
