btw, where do you get your ERA+ numbers? they are different from the ones I get from baseball-reference.com

***

I don't think Willis will rebound much in Florida. Considering defenses, I do think that Bonderman is likely to be better than Willis next year, IF Willis remains in FLA and Bonderman remainds in DET.

Of course, the gods are funny and Willis will get traded to STL while Bondy will end up in Texas, and you'll be saying you're my bitch for a year... Wink

But I'll STILL take the bet....cuz I got me some huge cajones.....

You game....or are you still wussin out?

ERA+ from THT on player pages.

They seem to be about a point lower than BBREF...no idea why.

I don't know what Eric Enders looks like...

Btw, you keep harping that Bonderman was better in 2006 because he had better periphs. I'll just have to disagree with you. A pitcher may have good periphs and suck... You asked for production in 2006. I tell you what they produced.

Bonderman did pretty well on a 95 win team on which a stiff like Kenny Rogers looked great. Willis did just as well on a team full of rookies with the worst infield in the game behind him. We can keep going in circles forever here, but what's the point...

No....I keep harping because he had the same ERA+, essentially, which is the production you are talking about AND had the better periphs.

see...math is easy....1+1 = 2

Did you get my e mail...I got your call earlier but was playing golf.....didn't want to call back and wake anybody up at your house late.

We are all up here, so if you want to call, feel free.

I don't bet on baseball anymore. People never pay off the debts they owe me

Hey, you got Enders to stop posting at Primer. That is priceless.

If you could just do the same for Baseless. The problem with him is that he is so dumb, he doesn't know he is dumb. Thus making him look like a fool is meaningless to him.

Do I owe you anything? I can't remember all of our bets, but I thought we pushed on them.

Holy cow, you guys should really, go work for an agent during arbitration season.

Willis- is 1 now, not an ace though. his wind at some point though may come back to hurt him at some point or maybe not. Odds favor yes, but he's also a very flexible rhythmic, strong guy.

Bondermen- late breaking 95+ fastball, with a nasty slider. When his fastball comes out flat, he's very hittable, but at least still battles. Benefits from Pudge and Leyland. Needs a change up. He's still a thrower, doesn't really pitch. If he developed a splitter, when his fastball is flat he'd really be lights out. Solid number 2, Can he become a pitcher, and hit spots? Needs a catcher.

Westbrook- solid number 2 pitcher, on any staff. Best pitcher of the previous two. Great cutter to lefties, and of course a nice natural 90+ sinker.

what makes you so high on westbrook, dangerfield? i like the guy, but a solid #2? best pitcher on the short list? enquiring minds want to know.

he's a smart pitcher. The only thing really missing is a plus plus pitch, but his sinker is there, not as good as Webb's but its there. his change is there. His cutter on lefties is close to becoming plus. There's really not much to dislike about him. He's a lot better than his stats, why he doesn't do better is he's not that great with runners on base like Vargas, so he's really not a number 2 because of that.

interesting comments, dangerfield. you may have mentioned this before, but were you involved with organized baseball before? (and I don't mean mafia soft ball games)...
