My vote for the absolute worst jerseys in the history of the game has to be those worn by the Houston Astros in the mid 70's 'ish. They were orange and brown and yellow with big wide stripes if memory serves me right. Awful...

The jerseys were the least of the problems with turn ahead the clock night. All the "futuristic" stuff at the ballpark that night was horrible. I was a pretty young kid and I still thought it was lame-o. If young kids weren't into it, who was? |

Ok But the DBacks was so ugly it was cute. Hidden is some closet somewhere.

My vote for worst uniforms are the White Sox in the early 1980s - shorts, collars, and completely horrible.

looking back at those purple uni's makes me gag... not particularly manly...
i must have missed those coupla games when they wore the jersey w/ the snake wrapping around it. looked interesting until i saw it on a player w/ purple sleeves coming out... sheesh!
the current jersey i like is the black. also the red w/ tan & black on the sides. |

I'm hopeful that in 2009 we will see the return of a sleeveless version. They are still my favorite look regardless of color... |

Really? I guess I should be glad that *somebody* likes them, but I'm going to counter this hope with a "Please, please, please, NO." I can not stand the sleeveless. Hate them. Abhor them.

I like them.
Home sleeveless with the "A" patch and red undershirt would be handsome.
