Were the Cards platooning Leinart and Warner or something? It was like with each possession, they would change.

Whizz lucked out today. the defense bailed him out.
He is a fuckwhit for messing with Leinart like this. Does he really think that with Warner in there the team would do better than 8-8? And then what do you have? One QB with a foot deeper in the grave, and another one with his confidence shot.
SOOOO glad Leinart had a good drive there at the end. This idiocy has to stop. |

8-8 sure beats 5-11

God I hate the NFL and I hate the Cards even more but I just saw the highlights and Little Stevie ran one back.
Very cool.
Very sad the Cards are the lead story on every broadcast and the DBACKS have been pushed to the side. |

Meh. When the Diamondbacks were in the midst of that incredible win streak they put together after the ASB, they were pushed aside for lead stories from the Cardinals training camp...
Why people love the Cardinals and care less about the Diamondbacks is high on the list of the great mysteries of life (like, #17...)

That's the enigma in which the mystery of the love for the Cardinals is wrapped!
The Cardinals have been bad for so long that it's amazing to me that anyone cares... and that includes going back to their days in St. Louis, before they traipsed out here to the desert...

I'd agree with you, except that Lienart can't throw a pass for more than 6 yards to save his life. He needs more experience, yet at the same time he needs to realize that he doesn't have a nice cushy job locked in. I'll take wins any way we can get them, and Warner has come through in every opportunity.

Which is why he lost his job early last year? You saw the fumble near his own end zone yesterday. Get used to that.
Maybe I am just a bitter Giants fan, but I have no faith in Kurt Warner to be able to avoid devastating fumbles and turnovers at the wrong time.

Kurt (and the rest of our O-Line) needs to learn how to fall on a football, but the fumble itslef was the Center's fault.

A-DUB picked us up with that huge INT
that needs to be worked on though, both of them missed it pretty bad

Matt to a reporter last night with Yahoo sports.
More headlines to keep the DBACKS in the background.
"I just want them to ride or die with me," Leinart said softly of 2-2 Arizona. "If I'm the franchise quarterback, play me and let me stumble, because I'll fight through it, and that will help me and our team in the long run. I know coaches want to win now, and I guess they have their reasons. But I don't understand it, and this switching back and forth is almost worse than getting benched." |

Matt, being ballsy for once. Bravo.

Well, QB controversy is over, at least for the next 6-8 weeks.
Leinart fractured collarbone. |

Must have been a worse break than they originally though.
either that or whiz just didn't want to deal with leinart when he came back, bitching to get his job back. |
