What's the answer to the AFLAC trivia question? Ichiro has to be one. |

Nice play by Reynolds.
I have a hard time not seeing him as our 3rd baseman going forward. he has really impressed. Especially considering coming up directly from AA. |
I agree, so what to do with Tracy, keep him on the bench or trade him?
|
Trade him for pitching. You can never have enough pitching.
|
|
Tracy doesn't have a lot of trade value right now, but he wouldn't be bad to piece together with some others players for a 4th or 5th starter.
I think it would be nice to trade him for pitching, but he'd also be a good left handed bat off the bench.

I wonder where Reynold's ceiling is as he gets more experience. |
According to shoewizard, this is it
http://www.baseball-reference.com/p/palmede01.shtml
Given what we've seen from Reynolds so far (raw power plus high K rate), this comp seems very reasonable. Reynolds would have to cut his K rate quite a bit AND/OR increase his BB rate significantly WITHOUT losing power to become a true monster. I wouldn't put it past him though...

Arrgh... I missed the "what to do with Tracy" part... I thought it was a joke re: Reynolds.

Ojeda has really turned it on here since O-Dawg went down, he's hitting .266 now.

It was name 3 of 4 active players to hit .350 more than once in their career.
