Sorry to have caused confusion. Was not my intent. Ryan had the game day thread for 9/20, his birthday, and there was no game yesterday. Since he didn't have a game thread to start and nobody to wish him a happy birthday, I started a 9/20 thread to wish him happy birthday, all be it a little late, but I'm damn good at procrastination.
Anyway, I guess I am the winner though of Livan taking it to the Dodgers tonight. |

Livo had best not inspire those dead Dodger bats!

Appreciate the birthday wishes Driaz.
The good news is we're not getting Penny this series. The D-Backs need to win (at least) two out of three this weekend.

Tonight is my last game at the stadium of the regular season. In light of that fact, let's hope they can at least win the two games over the weekend...

It would be nice to see Loaiza walk 7 again. Livo keep the walks down!
Padres and Rockies ought to be a good game. Padres winning 7 straight, Rockies winning 5 straight, something has to give.
Coolstandings.com has the D-backs at 88.1% chance of making the playoffs and the Padres at 90%. |

They need to switch up the strategy with Livan tonight: Cheat (or cheat harder than usual).
If Livan gets results, the team wins.
If Livan gets thrown out or suspended, the team wins.
If Livan sucks, they can get him thrown out for cheating.
If Livan tries to blame the team, no one will believe him because he's a dirty cheater. |

Again no television for Southern Arizona as we finish out the final year of "being on probation" for living in Tucson. Can't imagine anyone here would want to actually watch a team in the middle of a pennant race. Once more, thank God we have FSA next season! |

You got that right. God knows we don't want to watch a team trying to get into the playoffs going into the last two weekends....

If I'm not mistaken, FSN actually picked up this game and it will be aired. |

They picked up Saturday's game. Making it on FSNAZ instead of not on TV period

I hope you are wrong, but i agree with you. I think Loaiza is a good matchup for Jackson - and young back in the LO spot is "interesting".
Not a big fan of loading lhers up vs a cutter guy.

Jackson has a great eye too, he'd be perfect vs. the 7 walk Loaiza in our last matchup.
EDIT: Jackson was 0-2, 2 BB's in that game.
Quit playing Clark, I'm tired of him now.

I like the line up. Loaded with 5 LHBs for Loaiza. |

What kills me even more is to see at the bottom ticker on ESPNEWS say "ARZ - Jackson 3 HR's, 8 RBI's in last 9 games"
