There is a new blog by Peter Gammons, but I don't have ESPN Insider...anyone willing to donate that info it would be much appreciated!

that's not kosher. I think people should avoid posting "insider" stuff on public forums, especially posts in their entirety. It's very easy to get this board into trouble...

Thus I'd advice against posting stuff here...

I agree. It's one thing to provide summaries of premium content and another thing to just copy and paste it.

On a related note, if you join insider, is that section at least ad-free? You shouldn't have to pay to join and then be blasted with the same annoying ads.

McCray, you have to sleep to dream.

I think we should just make the stuff up. I had an insider membership about 3 years ago and that's what they did. They just summarized what you'd see in the sports pages across the US.

The article just says the dbacks have a chance to win the division this year based on their veteran pitching and young talent and that the entire division has begun to build around pitching. Nothing earth shattering or new that you haven't heard on the board before.

Mac, that's a sleep-deprived recollection of a post at BBTF from January 27, 2006.

Here's a link: Gammons steps into studio to record his first album

Scroll down to entry #21.

I agree: Let's just make stuff up. Hey, maybe we should ask the Admin to create an "Outrageous Baseball Rumor" forum? Very Happy

Rumors are swirling that Miguel Montero has a tattoo of a chili pepper on his tongue.

wow, i'm pretty amazed i remembered that correctly. and tmar, actually if you go long enough awake, you'll dream without falling asleep. at least, i hope that's the case. otherwise i really am covered in spiders right now, and the bloody clown watching me type is also real. that wouldn't be good.

that's right, clown. i'm talking about you... Very Happy

Geez, Mac, I know I shouldn't laugh, with you feeling so terrible right now, but, damn, that was funny!

dude, laugh. you gotta do something to get through the day, right? also, the gf wanted me to thank you for the doctor info you sent us earlier. she says any time you want, you're welcome to dinner at our place. it's a tiny apartment, but it's cozy. and she makes a hella-good tuna casserole.

courtesy of the gammo generator:

Quote:
# The Diamondbacks believe that now that Dustin Nippert has thrown two disobedient games in a row and if Chris Snyder and others start hitting consistently, they have hope, and could go fishing for someone like Dontrelle Willis, but if not, Doug Slaten, Craig Counsell (who is has come back from his herniated index finger better than ever), and the ever-stuck-up Miguel Montero, et al could be available if Josh Byrnes decides it's time to cash in the chips.
