Anybody get their tix for VII? I managed to sneak in an order for the first Imax3D showing in Houston before the entire movie ticket ecosystem collapsed a few monday nights ago.

When I was 4, my dad took me to the movies to see Return of the Jedi and I even got Darth Vader's autograph out by the box office (still framed and on the wall). It was awesome.

Thoughts on the trailers/plots/etc?

Only 6 more weeks... 8-)

The Jar Jar Binks theory is fascinating.

The cinematography, the special effects, the new characters, the storyline were all excellent. I'm sure I'll go see it again!

I'm guilty of seeing it twice,,, first time was on the IMAX 3-D, then we caught it again last night at the draft house down the street.

Definitely better than Episodes 1-3, it's basically A New New Hope. Some more character development would have been good, I'd say my biggest complaints center around what isn't in it instead of what is. I still enjoyed it and think it measured up considering the expectations.

I loved it.

Along with what has been said, I thought Kylo was one of the most interesting Star Wars characters they have ever used.

Good to hear everyone likes it. I'm looking forward to seeing it, but it will probably be a couple of weeks yet. I'm not the biggest SW fan, but I've seen them all and I'm sure I'll enjoy all the new ones.

See it even if you've heard "crucial" spoilers..It's not all about the plot, which is extremely predictable anyway (and telegraphs coming events continually)... but it has the same fun and joy as the initial SW Hope.

I did see it just prior to Christmas and I thought was well done. A nice way to reboot the franchise. Better enjoy them, because there will be a new one every year or so for the foreseeable future between the continuing story and the stand alone films.

I saw it on opening night and the next week with the kids. So great, can't wait till it comes out on video! I love the new characters, can't wait to see where they go.
