Well, on paper, thats pretty darn solid.. They got to game seven of nlcs with slightly worse than that, and 2 of top 3 pitchers out...

they still have no pitching though...

Yeah... probably true, but still better than anyone elses o in the NL...

On the other hand, i think dangerfield could put a team together if he had a $200 billion payroll.. (sorry dude - just teasin')

AND - They still have no pitching...

too bad it isn't Gonzo the mets are signing....

it would just be too much fun on primer if that were to happen....

I guess Alou and Green in the OF accomplishes the same thing though.

BTW....here is a link on Green I wish I had read before we traded for him in the first place

The Mets O looks pretty solid but pitching and D wins you titles.

They don't have the pitching right now.

Pedro is done and Glaven is a big ?

El duque or Trachsel is their ace???

Done

Rotoworld reports.

Quote:
Moises Alou is guaranteed $8.5 million under the terms of the deal he signed with the Mets on Monday.

The Mets' press release said it was $7.5 million, but that didn't count the $1 million buyout of his $7.5 million option for 2008.
