This was kinda funny...

It was announced earlier this week that Citicorp will pay $20 million a year for the corporate naming rights to the new New York Mets stadium — CitiField, as they'll call it when it opens in 2009 — currently being constructed in Queens.

Some of the losing bidders:

Borat Ballpark
Trump Towers Queens
Pabst Blue Ribbon Park
Rikers Inland
Lenny Dykstra's Carwash
Supporters of the 2nd Avenue Deli Stadium
Paul Lo Duca's OTB & All-Ages Disco
Andrea Peyser & Associates Field
The House That Seinfeld Built
Shitticorp
Darryl Strawberry Fields
Google's 'Fuck It Let's Just Buy Everything' Multiuse Facility
Famous Reys
Jose Jose-Jose-Jose Field
MookieSpace
The Dominican Republic
Yankee Stadium

Great list. It reminds me of a game where the Mets couldn't get anybody and my friend, in frustration, said: "Geez, Strawberyy Fields Forever".

To be polite, how about the Jose Can You See Field?
