Well, I found 75-1 odds at the Paris Casino, so I slapped down 200 bucks on the D backs to win the world series in 2007......so lets hope that Josh does the right thing and breaks the bank for Matsusaka, and trades some prospects for guys what will help them win the W.S. in 2007.....

after all......now that I have a vested interest in another W.S. trophy in 2007, who cares about any long term plans?

uh, yeah. of course i know he was being sarcastic. shoewiz told me on the phone two days ago that he was going to put 200 bucks on az; we both had a good laugh about it.

my post was directed at kris, who seems to be having a heart attack

If a championship were guaranteed, I would agree to this. A trophy in the case is worth two at the factory.

That was when the odds were 60-1, which is what they are in most Casino's. For some reason the Paris had the 75-1 odds, so I'll get the same payout , 15K, if I win.

Moneyball Rocks!!

$15000 doesn't go as far as it did 50 years ago. Shoe would blow most of the $$ in airline tix alone for this board (It's international, ya know) Wink
