Okay, my take:

NLDS

SD over StL., perhaps a sweep (you are dreaming MG)
Mets over LAD, just barely.

NLCS

SD over Mets. (The Padres' pitching and defense is going to carry the day)

ALDS

Min over Oak.
NYY over Det. (sorry Mac)

ALCS

NYY over Min.

WS

NYY over SD (another sweep--the NL stinks)

hmm... I'm already starting to doubt if Min can get far. After Santanna they don't have much starting pitching. I'm pretty confident about SD though. They have great pitching and enough hitting.

yeah, i've got serious doubts about min's pitching too, but what a great story that'd be.

garza steps up as a dominant big stage pitcher, and makes the leap from AAA to the WS in a season.

radke pitches a dominant game on a broken/dislocated/shredded shoulder.

santana throws a postseason no-no.

too much great shit can happen to root against this team. 'sides, it's a lot better than watching a 200M payroll barely win.

Question Dodgers are facing the Mets while the Cards play the Pads in the first round.

Boras will have an orgasm if Zito leads them to a WS in his contract year.

Lozl, my mistake. Either way California advances.

Frak, I'm 1-for-4 and can't even get lucky and win the WS...

Oh, well. At least the Yankees lost. That's really all that matters.

Got 3 of 4, but can't "win" the WS... but I'd be ecstatic if StL accomplished that highly unlikely scenario. But it's already a good post season since the Cards got farther than I reasonably expected already and the MFYs are out!
