I know the 7 AM rule is out the window, but can y'all at least wait until the day of the game? |

Morris has held Counsell to a .190 average (4-22). Gonzo is 6-26 off of him (although he has 2 HR and a double off of him). Tracy, Estrada, and Easley all have good numbers (5-13, 5-16, and 5-15). I hope this doesn't mean Easley will play at 3rd and Tracy starts at 1st. |

The rule only gets violated for Webb starts. The rest of the time the gameday thread has been standing empty til 8 or 9 the next morning.
However, I am cool with somebody taking the thread early last night to prevent foulpole from costing Webb yet another win...

Hudson shouldn't be back until Wed I think. That's why I figured Melvin would opt for Counsell over Callaspo.

If that's the case, then we are probably safe. I don't see Melvin starting Counsell over Drew. We might have to intimidate Melvin so he doesn't shift Tracy over to 1B though. |

In that case... consider this a pre-emptive Fuck You Melvin if he considers CC over Drew tonight.

I think that Melvin will really want to put his best D on the field to help Webbs chances pitching wise...
I dont disagree that counsell is a defensive upgrade at 3rd.
BUT, you cant get a W if you dont score... |

Still not talking about the D-backs (or watching them), but I had to chime in with:
Fuck you, Moorad. For giving Green an extension. And Russ Ortiz.
Love, Oden. |

Hell... I've got my jersey and cap on and am going down to the local bar to watch (and provoke ) AND cheer Webby on his Cy Young course. Guess I'll catch up on this thread when I get home.
Taking Desert's (I think it was him) approach, I'll leave a few lines to be cut and pasted at will:
Q asks, "who's your daddy?"
ANOTHER DP executed by Drew and Co.!!! That kid's the real deal!
Tracy with the long ball!!!!
Webb's making Barroids look silly. Well, sillier.
One's I HOPE you don't have to use:
Past a diving Hudson...
Hasn't Byrnes figured out that he NEVER hits that pitch?
Another brilliant decision by Boob Melvin.
Can Tracy even SEE the ball? Jesus...
Gonzo's arm. Really strikes fear into opponents.
Have fun guys! I'll check in later....

Carpenter just gave up 4 runs in the 7th and lost the lead, 6-5, to the Padres. Come on, SD bullpen.
