Ok, for a 12:30 radio only game, I'll take Vargas over Sanchez.
D-Backs need to go 3-2 in their final 5 games to equal last years mark. |

FoxSports is showing a replay of last night's game. How hard would it be to show today's game live instead? |

I got the Gnatcasters on FOX Bay Area on TV right now. Chris Young lost his footing trying to get out of the batters box and nearly fell right on his face. Gnatcasters had fun with that |

Frandsen just dropped that pop fly. Flat dropped it and now Golden Boy says "I want to come back to my home area, Gnats. Here's a home run to show how good I am" |

Ball took a funny high bounce and Easley couldn't come up with it. The barrel of the bat was heading his way also which may have been a factor. But no harm, Old Man Moises ends the inning |

Did anyone bother to tell Vargas that Eliazar Alfonzo can HIT? I mean, Vargas might just as well have said to him "here it is, see if you can hit it" and grooved it right down main street. Alfonzo put it about 30 rows back of the fence. |

Aweful pitch by Vargas there, deserved to be a home run. Really don't want to see him back next year, so inconsistent it's not even funny. |

Alfonzo, the Giants catcher, took one on his shoulder and they wanted to make sure he could still throw. Second shot he's taken today.

Its been an iffy day as usual here in Stirling. Sunny when i left for uni this morning, 2 hours later and it was light rain. Windy and cold at the minute (9.15pm). The weather doesn't like staying the same for too long round these parts .

They got Vizquel wired for sound today and they showed him telling Frandsen why he screwed up the pop fly. Omar told Frandsen he has to run out to where he thinks the ball will go to get there as soon as possible rather than just jog out to it. Omar told Kevin he has to be on top of the ball because it moves around so much due to the swirling winds. |

Here goes Thom on Estrada's comments, quoting the article.
He is dripping with sarcasm as he said that Estrada said the Phillies want a "Winner"....the inference was clear....Thom does NOT feel that Estrada is a Winner.
I agree. |

Today's Gnatcasters' AFLACŪ trivia question:
Besides Barry Bonds, name the other three LEFT HANDED hitters who have hit 50+ Home runs in a season in the National League. |

TheDesertSurfer, You live in San Fran I take it? Was there a couple of years ago. Stayed at the Sheratton Fishermans Warf, which I was pretty dissapointed with to be honest. Giants were on an away stand so couldn't get a game in at pac bell . San Fran was a nice place mind you, except that it was fucking hella windy!! Is it always as windy? |

The team is not a winner this year. We didn't even make 500. I'm disappointed. Whatever changes need to be made, we need to make them.
