I'm putting my 3-0 record from the old board on the line.

I've only got one thing to say to Webb: "Strike these motherfuckers out."

I don't know what the fuck Melvin is thinking:

1. C Counsell, 3B
2. O Hudson, 2B
3. L Gonzalez, LF
4. C Tracy, 1B
5. E Byrnes, CF
6. S Drew, SS
7. C Quentin, RF
8. C Snyder, C
9. B Webb, P

My only guess is that either Jackson was a late scratch for some reason or he's going for the 'all defense' team. I'm fine with Counsell starting at 3rd over Tracy but Tracy hasn't played 1B since like the middle of last year.

Another thing, in limited ABs, the team is hitting .396/.500/.679 against Kim.

Maybe that's the problem...

What two words might not belong together in this phrase?
"Melvin is thinking"

Jackson:

.787 OPS v. RHP
1.066 OPS in September

Tracy:

.827 OPS v. RHP
.671 OPS in September

The Sidewinders are losing in the third inning, 2-0.

Robbie Hammock is at first base...

I dunno, I just thought that was interesting, given matt's observation that Tracy hasn't played 1B in a long, long time... Hard to imagine Tracy as a "defensive upgrade" over CoJack at 1B at this point in time...

There's no way, given the current state of affairs, that Gonzo is not going to be in the lineup (esp. for a home game); but Counsell leading off and playing third?

I thought Gonzo said the team wants Webb to win the CY award... Mad

Webb's Cy Young hopes just took another screwing from our top-notch defense. Rolling Eyes

Quite a reception for Gonzo as he came up for his first AB. I gained a lot of respect for BK, as he stepped away from the mound and took his time tying both of his shoes to let Luis have his moment.

Lots of "whoo-hoos" at our house for both the triple and the RBI.

Sidewinders just tied up Round Rock 3-3 in the seventh. Two run single by John Webber.

Sorry to get off track here.
