Give a post if anybody's down for Slider's before the game.
Shoe, hit Darren up and see if he can hook up the best fans the team has.

I'm flying in Tuesday to go to games 1 and 2. I usually like going in once they open the gates to watch BP.
A few drinks at Slider's prior to that could be fun.

I'm going with family both nights, and don't think I'll be able to hang out and do the bar thing. |

Speaking of hooking people up, how about some round trip flights and tickets for an old Arizonian out of state for college? |

I might be able to come, but I don't know yet, and probably won't until sometime tomorrow. Gates open at 4:30, so what time is the meetup going to be? |

I figure get there and post a "DBBP" sign or something whenever you can. I'm sure lots of us have to work, but I'm gonna try to be down there around 5.

Got it.
Also, my buddy has some extra bleacher tickets for Games 1 & 2. He's looking for more than face, but doesn't want to sell to a Cubs fan.
Game 1: Section 143, Row 15 (5th Row of bleachers)
Game 2: Section 143, Row 13
Send me a PM if you're interested.

I'm probably going to head to Chase shortly. Need to get my tickets from the Will Call window. I'll kill some time at Slider's until they open the gates. I like to go in once the gates open. It's always interesting to watch batting practice before the game.

Ah geez I barely got home. I'll be the guy wearing a DBacks Hat and a Property of ARIZONA Diamondbacks Baseball T-Shirt. Like I'll be the only one.
Maybe someone can make some sort of announcement at Sliders as to who is part of DBBP. |

Just got home. What an awesome game. I was a little hammered but getting sober now. I need to be up at 6:00am.
I was hoping to be there at 5:00 but traffic sucked. Got there at about 6:40. Had to get my tixs at the will call window long line. Then had to get a couple beeres, long line again. Made me miss Half of the first inning. When I got to my seats I figured out I could of had a waiter bring them to me, since I was sitting in section S, near the DBacks 3rd base side.
and Vanessa was hot! did I mention that yet?
Great game, will be back tomorrow. Hopefully early and maybe meet up with some DBBP members.
I'm glad it seemed liked we out numbered the cubs fans and drowned them out. That was awesome, but I hope it was the same way on the tv side since I was surrounded by DBacks fans. Oh, did I mention that Vanessa is hot? |

Similar here... Had to park where I did for the 2001 WS (2.5 blocks further than normal) and barely got to stadium in time to get a Blimpe's sub (to prevent starvation) before getting to my seat just before the first pitch.
Didn't leave my seat the entire game (not even a restroom break).
I didn't even mind after the game when I discovered I had left my car lights on and had to wait for AAA to jump start me.

I was in section H last night.
I'm in section L tonight.
I can't imagine how heavy game traffic must have been after 6pm. It was starting to load up just before 5 thanks to an accident that closed one lane on 7th st southbound several blocks before the $10 parking garage.
I may leave for the park at 4pm this afternoon, just to get parked early and kill time at Slider's before the gates open.

Closest lot for $10 parking that I found was on 9th Street south of Jefferson, where the AHCCCS offices are located. Everything closer was a minimum of $15. Some of the places that would merit a $25 ticket under normal circumstances will get you towed away right now -- substantially more than what you'll pay for parking...
Also, be prepared for traffic congestion on a titanic scale if you're attempting to depart the game going eastbound on Jefferson. It took about 40 minutes to go 7 blocks; and that was after sitting in the stands until we were the last ones in our section, walking from the ballpark to the car, and listening to the post-game shows for 20-25 minutes before even attempting to get out of the parking lot...
