Today is reserved for my new baby girl's birthday. I obviously won't be around to start the thread tomorrow....we have to be at the hospital tonight to begin the induction process. Wish us luck and let's introduce "Camdyn Sedona" into the world with a D'Backs win! WOOO HOOO!

Just so you're aware, she may seem a little retro Diamondbacks Purple when she first rolls out, but with her first breath should quickly take on more of a Sedona Red hue.
Great name and congratulations!

Some good quotes from the game recap...
"As Clark rounded the bases (after his homerun), Garciaparra glared at the young Abreu. The Dodgers clubhouse was closed for 30 minutes after the game for a team meeting."
"With the Dodgers clearly out of it, Little said he would field some different lineups in the remaining games."
Nice to see Grady giving us a head start for the next two ballgames. We know were not going to be playing as an effective lineup, and we need to roll over these guys to secure that playoff spot!
Congrats on the baby girl!

Congratulations dude. She your first? If so, man you're in for an amazing ride. It's a different kind of love that can only be experienced to be understood. Hope everything goes smoothly.

I really hope kicking the shit out of LA kinda lit a spark for everybody.
Also, we're protecting a division lead vs a team that has given up. There is no excuse for not winning the next two days, capped by a sellout Sunday afternoon crowd all staying through the last out of Valverde's 47th/48th save. Maybe get a little help from Colorado and push that lead up a bit. That would be a nice thank you to the team for the season they've played.

Is Sunday's game soldout? I sort of tuned out(If they said it on the broadcast) during the 7th inning on and watched the Pads game instead since we were up big.

Congrats to D-backsheels, nice name!!
I'm going to the game today. They won the last one I went to when we beat the Padres 9-6. Should be fun, I thought watching on TV last night there was more than 37K at the game. Although I only saw about half of it with no volume. |

Came home to let the dogs out for a minute so I thought I would throw an update in. The water broke a couple of hours ago and she is at 6cm. Shouldn't be long now! Man, I've been up all night and I'm tired as hell! And yes, she's our first. Thanks for all the kind words from all you guys. I'll fill you in when ever I get to come home again.

A word of advice in advance about the second. A lot of parents...remembering how long the first child took.....are a little slow to react for the second. Don't be. The second one almost always will shock with their haste arrival |

Yep. Our 6 month old took 3 hours from the start of noticable labor to delivery. I got a call at 3:30 saying she was a little uncomfortable. At 4 she told me to come home from work. Got home at 5 and we got to the birth center at 6. She delivered him at 6:30.
