Did I miss something? It's past 8:30 and no one started a thread yet. I'm on my way to Seattle for my last major leagie game of the year, but I'll jump in and take one for the team.

Absolute must win game today versus Los Angeles.
Tomorrow were back home for 6 against SF and LA, and we currently are 3 games up in the win colum on San Diego, but just 1 loss behind them. We can't afford many more losses because SD has more games than us down the stretch.
Edgar needs to pitch strong this afternoon, and the guys know today is a must win, so let's go get it!

I was thinking the same thing. I know it's somewhat cliche and is definitely over-used but this is a must-win game if we are to avoid indigestion during our last series against the Rockies.
I was hoping to go .500 over the SF/LA trip and we can do that by just winning today. Going 1-2 with LA only gives them 1 game on us and we can afford to do that each remaining series and still beat them to the playoffs. |

The thing that scares me about today's game is that the Dodgers are hitting .296 in thier last six games. The Dodgers will be a tough lineup for Gonzalez to face. While Loaiza should not be difficult for the Dbacks hitters, they have a tendency to make alot of pitchers look like Cy Young. |

Where do you think Gonzo will end up next year? The AL, NL? What team can utilize him? |
