I know this is reeeeeally early. But I leave Thursday night for AZ and I don't know if I'll be able to start the thread in time. I would hate for the streak to be broken just because I couldn't start the thread. If that has anything to do with the streak.
Hope to see some of you at Sliders Monday. Go D-Backs

Not really. I've just been lucky to hang onto Doug's shirt tail and the team.

Quick question here..

What happens if a birthday reservation coincides with a DD start?!

As has been said elsewhere... Inasmuch as there is a chance that DD will start on the 31st -- my birthday -- I yield the thread to daddy d. If anyone else starts, the thread remains mine.

Let's stretch that lead out to 4.5 today. I'm enjoying this stretch of quality Doug Davis pitching.

I'm starting to think that, especially with a day off every week, we might want to consider going to a four man rotation. Petit seemed to be only a small improvement over Kim. What do you guys think?

Earl used to say that it is easier to find 4 good pitchers than 5 good pitchers.

BTW, the pictures were developed, but we are now confused about who is blackmailing who.

This is Steve Stone's argument too. He thinks eventually (partly because of economics--it's cheaper to pay a middle relief pitcherthan a starter), most teams will go back to a four man rotation.

I've been in favor of a five-day rotation since forever.
