Hi everyone, we have been taking our son to the game for his birthday every year for the last 6 years. This year he turns 12, so wanting to do something a little more special than just tickets. I like the idea of the home run porch seats but he likes to be close to the field and players. Looking for suggestions or maybe what some have you have done for kids bdays in the past if any? Planning on July 25th vs the Brewers, and not much left for seat selection. TIA!!

First of all I would get there very early, when park opens, and catch as much BP as possible.
next, if you want seats close to field, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg, the seats down the line past 3rd base are a good option. You might find something close to the field, and before the game starts you can usually catch players walking down to the pen if you want to do the autograph thing.
Of course if it's within your budget, splurge on something close to the D Backs dugout.
Just make sure no cell phone/game playing going on. Watch out for foul balls !
