Bad news: Ryan Howard is back from the DL. Not only that, he hit two bombs yesterday vs. Atlanta.

Good news: Freddy Garcia is not going to get away with the weak shit he displayed last time.Twisted Evil

It'll be great if Johnson can go on Wednesday so the D-backs can toss two lefties at Philly this series. I'm worried about Owings. He was getting hit hard - hey, scouts had him pegged! - by Houston, but not giving up runs.

Is Young hitting the DL, then? Or is this going to turn into Beltran '05?

I think moviegeek may have had something more sinister in mind. Twisted Evil One never knows how fickle the baseball gods can be. Wink

I didn't get to see the entire game yesterday, was at my brother-in-laws house that is a Dodger fan, so we did channel flipping. (Damn the Cubs suck!) We had some extended family in town from out of state, and they accused Young of loafing it a couple times. Once on the basebaths and once on a play that Young easily makes in the OF when healthy. I explained to them he is injured, but our dolt of a manager won't allow him to fully heal. This play him a game at 70%, then let him sit a couple games is bullshit. They should have put him on the DL and allowed him to completely heal. Mad

Davis has a 2-6 record, but with a solid 3.57 ERA. Let's get the guy some runs.
