The magic number for Super Two status last year was 130 (sometime in May)

Rios got 2.535M for next year instead of the likely minimum because he reached super two by one day.

Of course, someone had to reach super two (it is a percentage of the class) so it is hard to be critical of the Jays here. If it wasn't them, it would have been another team.
