A strangely noncompelling matchup. Grossman sucks so bad that I cannot imagine how the Bears win. I guess Peyton sucks bad in the postseason, too, so it may be a battle of which qb sucks less, and if they suck equally, the Bears do have a great defense and special teams.
Still, logic says that the Colts win this game by 20.

Colts 27-19 Bears
I'm 100% disinterested in this game, and will be in Oklahoma City while the game is on without TV...so it's not like it matters. |

You'll be okay as long as you don't bake pies.

What better way to use my 700th post than by saying...
GO COLTS!!!!!
As I diehard Colts fan, yesterday's game was amazing. It's good to see Manning defeat the "curse" and make that biggest comeback in a Championship game ever. It was so good to beat that bitch-ass Patriots team, a thorn in our side for far too long.
I was actually doing victory laps in the bar...
Suck it, Brady. Suck it long and hard.
Chicago will be tough, but I'm thinking this is the Colts' year.

Yeah, that was an amazing finish. The minor "whoop" of excitement emanating from near South Mountain at the time the Colts scored the last TD to take the lead was from me... and I'm not really a Colts fan -- I just didn't want to watch the Patriots in ANOTHER Super Bowl.
As I'm not really a Bears fan, either, I can honestly say, congratulations, B.O.N.D. -- and (out of deference to moviegeekjn), I hope the Colts-Bears game goes down as one of the best in Super Bowl history, regardless of who the winner may be!

Ditto to B.O.N.D. and any other longtime Colts supporters. I was rooting for them as well--no need to see a "revenge 1985" Super Bowl match up, given the recent success of the Patriots. Good to see the Colts come back and see Payton rid himself of that giant media "gorilla" off his backside.
Hoping for a great Super Bowl match as well... no matter how it comes out. (Bears games are the only football games that I watch, so this will be the first Super Bowl in recent years that I'll actually watch -- unless it turns into a blowout for the Colts)

The match up doesn't do much for me...perhaps because the nfl doesn't do much for me. If I'm around the house, I'll probably catch a bit of the game. However, I'm hoping that some good movies open that weekend. |

Unless they bring end of the year flicks that opened in NYC and LA... you KNOW what kind of "new" opening movies that Hollywood dredges out from Jan. 1 to the end of February
OTOH... Go Bears!

Actually, we're getting Venus about that time. A chance to see Peter O'Toole's Oscar nominated performance. |
