Tonights win leaves them at a 10.3% shot to go to 18 games and end january without a loss. San antonio to start february is the next real challenge.

At Washington, at Cleveland, and at Minnesota are all toughies. I am betting that they will not make it past Cleveland, who has a little payback to give for the thumping the Suns administered in Phoenix, but I think the Suns will get past Washington.

16 games is my prediction.

Cleveland is predicted to win 38% of the time against the suns which is still a pretty comfortable cushion. The other two are in the low 30's. Even without citing that, I think cleveland, minnesota, and washington are all capable of defeating them but the suns should still be favored by 5+ points. Dallas and san antonio though should be a coin flip almost as predicted.

I assume that was rounded down to 0% rather than a statement of impossibility.

No, it does seem like every game against a team with a marquee player results in said player being injured or suspended. The Suns have been very lucky in that regard this year.

Except in Denver. The snow gods prevented them from getting in their game against the Nuggets w/o Anthony and Iverson.

No, what that means is that in the 1000 seasons I ran, 4 of them made it to 35 games but all 4 of those lost to houston in game 36... If I ran more certainly youd see the "possibility" of hitting 36 or more games in a row.

If they can just get the next two they will beat the 15 game streak from earlier in the year and set another Suns record.

Well, if that happens, the Suns will fall to a paltry 55-9, and all the critics can say the Suns can't beat elite teams and only pad their record against patsies...
