Instead of getting smoked by man eating DBs on crossing patterns, "Jeff Samardzija decided to give up football and stay with baseball." The more pastoral sport with the guaranteed contract sounds like the right decision.

Cubs franchise is becoming a joke... all my buddies are Cub fans here in Chicago and can't believe how much money the Cubs are spending, I mean wasting this offseason.
