Im on a two week vacation so Ive been hitting the movies pretty hard.

Eragon: decent movie all in all. Kind of suprised there isnt more buzz. Its certainly not lord of the rings but I think its about as good as say chronicles of narnia. I hate pushing it too much since I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly suprised so I may be biased a little.

Night at the museum: Couple funny one liners but its not all that exciting. Good premise and all but they didnt take advantage of some of the funnier historical humor they could have thrown in there to dumb it down with a bunch of more generic comedy and second rate action. Not bad for a kids movie but dont expect anything more.

Happy feet: Pretty retarded premise even for a cartoon. Take a dash of ugly duckling and mix in the idea that a dancing penguin could get noticed by the entire world in order to get everyone to stop fishing near antartica. Some very minor funny parts in the movie but probably not even worth renting unless you have kids that like animated animals.

Miami Vice: I couldnt watch it though I tried. Just seemed like XXX with a more expensive budget and more attempt to make things serious and drawn out. Almost like they took collateral and mixed it with XXX. Not a good combo in my book.

A Scanner Darkly: Maybe there is a quality movie there for some people but I didnt have the patience for it. I gave up after 30 minutes cause it just didnt seem to be my thing.

The worst thing ever is that I saw a preview today for "Are we done yet" a sequal to the classic pile of crap movie "are we there yet" where it seems they reunite ice t or tone loc or whatever with his new found family and try to do a bad rendition of the money pit.
