Watched him in an early fall league game. To say he struggles with throwing is a understatement. He struggled throwing the ball back to the pitcher accurately (making the pitchers reach, jump, crouch etc.)

Great to hear on Bradley. In Bradley's last start O'brien nailed 3 would be basestealers if I'm not mistaken. Was that a fluke ?

Not sure, but we saw several examples. Warm up throw to second base thrown short and bounced into outfield. Missed Bradley on a throw back to pitcher, second baseman needed to get it. Throw to first on a bounced strike three almost hit runner when thrown to foul side of first...
Hes aiming not throwing. he looks liek he has no confidence in easy throws.

Oh i agree, but if a prospect's true position is 1B, dont you let him play in AA, AAA and build value.

O'brien might be getting The Yips

Yep, and change the e to i, and add an s for the story. Not sure it's the same thing with O'Brien, but the result is the same.

Define 'Established pitcher"
O'brien isn't a catcher. He is a minor league outfielder with questionable plate discipline and questionable defense that has a lot of power.
What do you think his trade value is and what kind of pitcher do you think he brings back ?

They can't think about trading him until he's called up and produces. He's probably not that far away, actually. If there is an injury to Inciarte, Peralta or Pollock, O'Brien will probably be the one called up. Danny Dorn is still raking in Reno, but he's only been playing 1B. I'm sure they like Tomas just fine, but Stewart has said he likes power bats.
