On the bright side, if MadBum throws a 15 K no hitter, Joe will have seen history
Calling it.

Whats the scoop with Rubby?
Did he make any rehab starts in the minors?
In the Jeep working tonight so I get Shulte on the radio or maybe Im lucky and he's on vacation again and I get the new guy!
When I get home its College football gotta check on that Louisville OL.
Will check in late to see how that NO-NO is coming along.

I think he had a couple, but last I checked he is only able to throw his fastball and slider, they don't want him throwing the changeup for now.

To me, that doesnt make sense. I learned how to grip a change up before a curveball or splitter. And I am not MLB calbre, obviously lol.
(I was only in LL then no actual years of real baseball until junior year of high school, but I never felt good enough to try out... despite some of my friends thoughts (one was scouted by the white sox the other has pitched in the nationals and tigers organization...Not saying names but one pitched for UA).

Since Hillsboro is the only Dbacks farm team to make it into the playoffs, and that probably only because Los Angeles doesn't have a farm team in the Northwest League, I imagine you were wondering how many Dodger farm clubs made it into the playoffs, right? Oh, you don't CARE? Well, then, I'll tell you anyway....
Ogden Raptors...are in the Pioneer League playoffs
Great Lakes Loons?....yep, they're in the Midwest League playoffs
Rancho Cucamonga Quakes....Right on, in the California League post season
Oklahoma Redhawks?...uh huh, in the PCL playoffs
the only one that didn't was the Tulsa Drillers in the Texas League
* * * * *
Looking forward to another spectacular TRAINWRECK tonight
after all, isn't that why they built Chase Field near the railroad tracks?

Rubby popping the mitt at 95
and got a posey on a slider it looked like….
but gave the arm a good shake as he walked off the mound.
I know most pitchers do it, and I’m probably oversensitive to it. But hate to see them do that.
Anyone remember Vicente Padilla ? The guy was the ultimate arm shaker

Is the 300 game winner officially extinct ?
Active wins leaders list here
Bumgarner at 99 at age 26. Would need 16 wins a year for the next 12.5 seasons to age 39, to reach 300
Kershaw age 28 has 128. Needs 17 a year for 10 years through age 38 to get there.
I think 250 or even 225 is the new 300

MB did not get behind any batters that inning. RDLR got behind to Pagan but he flied out.
Let's go to the second
Jensen LF, Haniger to CF, Pollock got hurt on the bases
CRAWFORD: inside to go 2-1
down and in breaker swing and a miss 2-2
low 3-2
liner hooked foul down right
foul left
down and in again, check swing called strike 3
1 out
