Sigh
First two runners reach base with Godley getting a hit and Segura bouncing one off home plate.
Then groundout, groundout, flyout.

And, actually when the independent league Tucson Toros still existed, I remember a game against the Edmonton team (I don't think it was the Trappers, they were AAA and this was within the last few years.) They did the Star Spangled Banner, and then Oh Canada. I was about the only person at Hi Corbett Field that stood with their hand on their heart for both anthems> I got a couple of wtf looks from some in USAF personnel nearby in uniform, but whatever.

As one who grew up near the Canadian Border, I attended many events in which both anthems were played. If anyone had ever said anything about it,
I would remind them that is showing respect to both countries and standing united as North Americans. I love my Canadian friends.

Jays get another one after a pickoff error by Godley lets a runner go from 1st to 3rd and then he is driven in by a single

I think that lineup cruhes Corbin today
Hope I'm wrong

Corbin has to have control, especially on the backfoot slider
he hasn't had it much lately
and if he doesn't....
It could be material for a remake of Hitchcock's "The Birds"

Listening to the Jayscasters today, lesser of two evils
Stroman bombed for 7 earned runs in 4.2 IP in Oakland last start
Corbin's Whip 1.51
Probably will see early on what kind of day Corbin's going to have
