Read this article and you get the idea the Dbacks think they're going to turn
            it all around.
Goldschmidt really feels that the best days are to come this year.
Note the line that says "One big reason...starting pitching"
            should read "THE BIG reason...pitching"

Hale says they made the big comeback while he was in Oakland. There's a HUGE difference between sea level Oakland and upper level Phoenix.
How the H does he plan to stage some kind of historic comeback, when they have only won 13 games at home? Atlanta won its 12th last night, and they are MLB LOW. Of course, the article says nothing about this.

Despite high priced pitching additions, the team isn't doing any better.
Seems to me it's going to take a long time, maybe years, to get this team
to a point where it is competitive. Let too many quality pitchers get away. Trevor Bauer is happy to be in Cleveland, no doubt.

1-1, going to the 17th in Toronto on Canada Day. The homeplate ump wants the game to be about him, it is obvious with his emphatic calls and tossing players and arguing with Carrera just now.

Tomorrows starter, Bauer in his 3rd inning of relief for the Tribe. Still alot of people in Rogers Centre.

Position player pitching alert, Ryan Goins on the hill for the Blue Jays in the 18th.

Goins a little wild, which I guess would be expected.

                      Threw a couple good curves.

Tribe almost just scored, BJs threw home and the runner on 3B broke home and ran outside the baseline to try to avoid being tagged.

Goins just got out of bases loaded jam with a 6-4-3 double play on a curveball!

If only we had RELIEVERS that could do that...

Hale forgot to mention that the '98 Yankees started the season 0-3, but they bounced back and went 114-45 the rest of the way. Arizona's still in a position to top their record: All they need to do is play better and take it one game at a time.

Darwin "purple dinosaur" Barney did not do nearly as well in the 19th. Gave up a HR to Santana, but struck out a batter. 2-1 going to the bottom 19th.

                            Carrera GO-3U

Donaldson launches one, crowd goes wild.... not enough distance. FO-9

                            Travis GO 6-3

Bauer gets the win, Purple Dinosaur the loss and the Tribe have now won 14 in a row.

I was watching the "All or Nothing" thing on Amazon during that game, started watching the last 5 episodes around the same time that game came on and I ended up finishing it before the game ended.

Down 3-1, in the 5th inning with 2 out...

Rex Hudler (KC): I like our chances if Wang gets in the game, he is 5-0 for us.

...I really hope he was being sarcastic. Other than a few dumb remarks here and there, I like the Royalscasters better than Bert and Ernie. And no Todd Walsh is always a plus.
