After beating up on an inept offense, now it is time to go up against an AL team with plenty of sluggers.

Corbin vs Estrada tonight, 4:07 PM AZ time

Whenever I make the threads, I always try to type it as road team then home team. I don't mean to confuse anyone with that, just a way I'm used to writing it.

O'Brien not being the DH here makes no sense to me either. Guess he doesn't have the veteran presence to handle it...

As this game begins, I have no audio
SEGURA: leadoff walk on 7 pitches. 2 changes in the dirt so he doesn't have the feel for that pitch yet.
HERRMANN: long drive center taken by Pillar 1 out
GOLDY: yeah, Jayscasters You can talk about Harper. Kershaw struck him out three times in three tries last night. Whoever is calling this game, balls and strikes are a coin flip.
strikes out swinging, Segura steals second without a throw as Estrada came with a change.
LAMB: Strikes out swinging on a late breaking changeup that went way outside out of the zone.
Jays coming up. Lamb went 0-2 looking to launch and if you have RISP I think the odds are against you. Try for a home run and strike out = 0; single and RISP = 1

And that is why we want him at DH

CARRERA: slow bouncer right on the line, Lamb throws to first and Goldy pulled his foot but I think there is going to be a review. and apparently there is no comm between the dugout and the video booth. replay showed Goldy MAY have kept his foot on and on the review, the call is OVERTURNED! 1 out
TRAVIS: high bouncer to Segura, easy out at first.
DONALDSON: 3-0. 2 of the pitches hit the zone in the diagram. Lines to O'Brien and he drops it. E-7
ENCARNACION: 2-0 grounds to Lamb, force at second
                scoreless after 1

I don't know if they worked Obrien in the outfield during spring training, but maybe that would cut into the players' golf time.
Asking for nothing but trouble to put someone in the field who is not qualified to play it

WEEKS: can't get around on the fast ball on 1-2 and easy fly right center taken by Pillar
TOMAS: called strikeout on a change up. tailed back over the plate. 2 out
OBRIEN: roofscraper taken by Tulo, and by the time he caught it, O'Brien was pulling to second. Big swings, big flies, big easy outs.
                    last of 2 coming, scoreless
not getting around on Estrada's fast balls, and not reading the changes he is throwing.
This could be a long night
Tomas can't begin to get around on his fast ball due to his windup swing

I think he was OF and sometimes 1B during the spring, but the only spot where he doesn't kill you in the field is 1B

They traded for him to be a catcher and he couldn't even throw the ball back to the pitcher

MARTIN: bouncer to Lamb, double clutches, but gets Martin easily anyway 1 out
Jayscasters said the Jays put on a fabulous show in BP. Wonder if they let any of the fans into see it.
SAUNDERS: breaker over the inside and he takes it and appeared to be helpless on the slider. 2 out
TULO: shot left center, that took a high bounce but O'Brien able to flag it down and
                        hold him to a single.
PILLAR: popped half way down first base line and Goldy has it as Herrmann backs off
                        after 2, scoreless

Segura walked on 4 pitches? What is this madness?

AHMED: fast ball inside freezes Ahmed who looked like a wooden indian in that AB 1 out
                            BOURN: ? - didn't see his AB
SEGURA: walks then steals second as Martin is late with the throw. another nice jump
HERRMANN: single through the vacated shortstop area on the shift for a single scoring a run. WTG Herrmann! take advantage and get a lead!!!!
GOLDY: swing and a miss on a curve. 2 K's for our hero so far. Jayscasters thought it was a good time for Herrmann to steal when Goldy was 0-2 and a change was probably coming but he didn't
1-0 AZ going to last of 3

2 walks so far. His short swings are fouling off Estrada's pitches until he gets the walk. The benefit of the contact swing.

this combination has to be the worst defensive OF in the league. Can you imagine all the errors if this OF is paired with the Phillies' infield?

Greinke would say "fuck this, you can have the 200 million back"

BARNEY: grounds to Ahmed on the first pitch 1 out
CARRERA: single to left and OBrien confused so doesn't charge and knocks it down with his bare hands. Truly an adventure out there in left tonight. single
TRAVIS: 1-1 hits the low zone and PC doesn't get a call. fly right center and Bourn takes charge. 2 out
DONALDSON: single to right, Tomas cuts it off, holds him to a single, Carrera to third.
ENCARNACION: bouncer to Lamb, sorts out the hops, and gets him at first.
noted that the Jays take some big swings too.

this combination has to be the worst defensive OF in the league. Can you imagine all the errors if this OF is paired with the Phillies' infield?

There was a ball hit in Philadelphia that Herrera totally screwed up and I am sure that Bourn would have had it, based on catches I have seen him make
