Back at home. One thing about going back and forth between hospitals is not seeing what happened in Pittsburgh!

Saw that Miller is on the DL with his finger issue (or more realistically, having a blown up ERA)
RDLR was put on there with elbow inflammation which I am more curious about though

Down 2-0 in the top of the 3rd
Runners on 1st and 3rd no outs
Amazingly nobody scored after that

The ex-dback connection (Duke/Albers) has blown a 5-2 lead in the 7th in KC!

That was actually a really awesome game and come from behind win in Kansas City. Danny Duffy was perfect through 5.1, but imploded, as the White Sox scored 5 runs in the 6th inning.. including a grand slam by former Royal, Melky Cabrera. That was all the offense the Sox could muster, in a 7-5 loss to the Royals. It was the Royals' largest come from behind win this year. Eibner, making his MLB debut as a DH started of the aforementioned 7th inning that culminated in Merrifield's first 2 MLB RBI.
I can honestly say, I can't remember the last time an opposing player hit a grand slam for a 4-1 lead in the 6th inning that I didnt turn the game off for the Dbacks.

I rarely watch much anymore; certainly not a full game. During a commercial break I may surf over to see how bad the game is going. Reruns of TBBT or Andy Griffith or current HGTV shows are better viewing. The Baby Backs were more fun to watch.

You can't stop the Padres offense.....you can only hope to contain them

Luckily after a base hit by the pitcher a runner is gunned out at the plate to end the inning.
