Todays starting outfield
A 3rd baseman, a shortstop, and a catcher.

Parra, CarGo and MR27 for the Rox.
Wasn't Parra basically the reason we were ok with trading CarGo? How'd that go?

Segura stupidly tries to reach third on a slow bouncer left side, Arenado gets to it and flips to Chatwood in time for the out, but he dropped the ball, and Segura subsequently scores on a sacrifice fly. So we get a gift run.
appeal to third is denied.
stupidity is stupidity even if you get away with it due to greater stupidity
and then a double play ends the inning
followed by more insulting commercials on MLB-TV

Glad someone started a thread, even though I noticed Joe posted today's news on yesterday's thread.
Speaking of threads, if you start one do you get credit for each win and discredit for each loss in the series, or is it one win or loss for the entire series and if that is true, what do you do for a split series?

I have actually wonderred that, and have been looking at the gameday standings... it has not been updated since before we started the series thing... so even though Admin on the Ground hasn't said anything, I think the standings are a thing of the past and we no longer count it.

Archie Bradley, out there because he throws hard and as Glavine explained yesterday, Dbacks are "in love with the radar gun". The harder you throw, the better you do at Chase, right?
Blackmon singles to start the rally.
Swing hard, and throw hard. Guaranteed success at Chase, right?
Story doubles to quickly tie the game, ball is fumbled at the wall. Story settles for a double
Yep, just throw hard and they can't hit it......never mind they just hit two heaters for back to back doubles erasing our pathetic lead.

My idea with it was that whoever started the discussion for each game gets credit. So who posts the thread gets credit for game 1, and whoever starts the discussion for the following games gets credit for those.
So for the Braves one, looks like it would be Justin, DS, and then me

over or under for Rox runs scored tonight...good luck!
yeah, our formula has just made us UNBEATABLE at home this year, right?
replaying Bradley getting in the chops last year.
Roxcasters commenting he came back 0-3 with an ERA over 10
in the dirt, not sure what it was
Roxcasters ALMOST as bad as Buffoon/Berp/Bertie
Bradley at 10 pitches, nobody out
and a pickoff attempt at second, goes into center field and Story goes to third
Ahmed covering, missed it
Cargo, foul tip held, 1 out

Goldschmidt almost got Bradley injured there at first.
Bradley's got to be a lot more efficient with his pitch count if he's ever going to be successful. (I know, "Thank you Captain Obvious")

Arenado takes a wild swing, catcher held the ball then dropped it
transition and Arenado strikes out looking like an idiot
now Walt has to come out and bitch
ground ball to Goldschmidt, Bradley covers for the out and Goodman said it was Goldy who held his foot on the base.
tied at 1 after 1
and MLB-TV keeps starting and stopping, mostly out of focus, and it's typical shit.

If I were Bradley, I would want to be more efficient and more successful by requesting a trade to a team with competent coaching.

Ahmed just isn't a MLB-caliber player.
You can't hit .167/.229/.278 unless you're a pitcher.

Herrmann grounds into a force because it was in the hole on the right side
Goodman and his partner are a couple of rachet-jaws
very distracting
two quick strikes fouled right because he can't catch up to the high heat
which you have a hard time doing with the hit-the-ball-to-Colorado-Springs swing.
can of corn to Cargo in right. Owings trying to be Tomas now and hit to the right side?
never mind. If you hit it high enough, an outfielder can come all the way from the capitol building and catch it.
Ahmed and his .168 average
you know TLR said he would hit, but didn't say when
maybe he will hit in the NEXT life
teed it up, very hittable, and a weak grounder to second.
1-1 going to last of 2

hey d'backs, you see that dude (the one that hasn't murdered the ball every other pitch) standing in the middle of the infield? Yeah, stop hitting the ball at him.
