Currently losing 8-0 in game 1 of the series, top of the 8th inning
It is shitty.

For some odd reason, I thought it was on offday. Now that I really think of it Friday off days are very rare...

I can't ever remember when a MLB team was not scheduled to play on a Friday. Maybe it happened once, but I don't recall.
Anyway, you can't win when you don't score, so a 9-0 might as well be 1-0.
Better luck tomorrow night. Looking for a good game from BIG MONEY!

You are probably right, but I was thinking a tues-weds-thu series with a 2 game set on sat and sun and I guess in olden times a DH on sat and a regular game sun.

Guess they really are making Lamb a platoon player...even though two of his homers are against LHP.
At least we get to see Owings every day.

I posted this at the Snakepit, but it doesn't bother me so much with Drury the one getting the PA's vs. LHP. Last year sucked cuz Hill was blocking his development, but if they are trying to win now, then platooning Lamb and Drury is a good way to go for the benefit of the team.
I'm going to tonights game.
I humbly request that Zack Greinke not suck.
My personal starters ERA in the 4 games I've attended at Chase sits around 12.50 or something. It's been brutal.

You know if he gets bombed, you aren't allowed to go to anymore games this year, right?

I thought Greinke would regress some moving to Chase (compared to what he did the last 3 years), but not as badly as we have seen so far.

Story scores as Parra singles to left 2-0 Rockies in the third
and Parra, standing on second, tries to steal third with two out
taking the bat out of MR's hands.
out from there to Buckeye and back

Everybody is looking for a weakness and sooner or later they'll find one and he will be a normal player again.

I assume he will be a good player, especially with that ballpark to hit in, but nothing in his minor league stats said he would hit like this.
The Dbacks are making it easy for him.

I hope you aren't there by yourself. Someone might need to treat you for shock
but our offense looks like cream puffs
Greinke takes strike 3. Could have at least tried a bunt or something

Bert: It figures to be a fast ball count (2-1)
Drury: I'm looking for a fast ball right here!
And Estevez obliges (stupidly)
And.....
BRANDON DRURY!

Greinke has pitched well enough to keep this tied at 2 through 6
90 pitches 61 strikes through 6
